The brief of this project was to design a 5000-seater contemporary church that adapts the core themes and styles of the Assemblies of God's Ministries into a modern style.

The building form wraps around the site forming an arrowhead shape due to the site constraints. it was important that the church had a 5000-capacity auditorium, so the building form evolved around that. It was also crucial that the building design was centred around the people and their experience within and around it.
The Arrow head shape stood out amongst our early concepts for its form as an abstracted “A” from the “AOG” or “Assemblies Of God” name.
